obligatory first post

I've been meaning to put a blog online for a while now. My site has sat as a perpetual holding page for around 7 or 8 years. It's time to put some of the things I've built in that time online.

The previous entries posted here I put online over this past week. I've got some more interesting code stuff to put online this week too including image filtering on a canvas tag and stripping color tables from a gif file using PHP.
